What are the three different types of Champagne Flutes?

The three different types of Champagne flutes are:

  • Traditional Flute – The flute consists of a long stem supported by a wide pedestal. While the traditional flute is slender, it can accommodate more champagne than other types of flutes.
  • Tulip – Shaped like the flower it borrows a name from, the tulip champagne glass features a broader base and a narrow top to trap the aromas within the bowl. This allows the scents to dissipate into the nose and enhance the drinking experience.
  • Coupe – The design of the coupe crystal champagne glasses is perfect for sampling small quantities of champagne. The unique shape and long stem preserve the flavour of the drink by preventing the transfer of body heat.
